Dining & Culinary Experiences

The Essex Resort & Spa operates two on-site restaurants: the Lazy Goat Tavern and the Junction. The Junction offers a chef's table experience where guests interact directly with the chef while menus feature locally-sourced ingredients. The property's Cook Academy provides hands-on cooking classes led by professional chefs such as Chef Dee and Chef Chris.

Wellness & Spa

The full-service spa offers a variety of treatments including massages, facials, and body wraps, with designated spa lounges and relaxation areas. Amenities include two swimming pools (one indoor, one outdoor), a year-round outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, and a fitness center equipped with Technogym machines. Guests can also book spa packages that bundle treatments with wellness packages.

Rooms & Accommodations

Rooms are traditionally furnished and include cable TV, free WiFi, and some units feature a kitchenette or gas fireplace. The Manor building offers one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchenettes including a dishwasher, fridge, and stove. Select rooms in the main building have culinary-themed decorations and gas fireplaces on timers.

Set on 18 acres of Vermont countryside, the resort is 3.9 km from downtown Essex and offers a shuttle service to Burlington International Airport (20 minutes away) for a fee. The property includes a golf course, tennis court, bicycle rental, and live music performances. Two goats graze on the grounds, and guests can enjoy outdoor fireplaces with complimentary s'mores.
