Accommodations & Rooms

The Sanderling offers rooms and suites with private balconies or patios overlooking the ocean, sound, or resort grounds. Renovated guest rooms feature coastal decor, a separate shower and soaking tub in suites, and pet-friendly options with a dog bed and water bowls upon request. Ground-floor Pool Patio King Suites provide direct walk-out access to a private fire pit and are steps from the beach.

Dining

Theodosia, an all-new dining concept by acclaimed chef Vivian Howard, is set to debut in late Spring 2025 at the Sanderling. The renewed Beach House Bar serves morning coffee, craft cocktails, and sunset views by the firepit. The on-site Lifesaving Station restaurant offers breakfast and dinner, and the Sand Bar serves tiki drinks and poolside snacks.

Wellness & Spa

The Spa at Sanderling provides a full menu of body treatments, facials, massages, and salon services including hair styling, manicure, pedicure, and waxing. Guests have access to a steam room, hot tub, fitness center, and daily yoga classes. The spa also offers customized wellness retreats and spa/wellness packages.

Activities & Amenities

The resort has two outdoor pools, a separate kids' pool, and an adults-only tranquility pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. Guests can use the on-site tennis court, bicycles for rent, and a golf course. Evening entertainment includes live music, bonfires at the firepits, and board games in the lobby.

The Sanderling sits on the northern end of Duck, NC, 6.2 km from the town center and 18.5 km from the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.
