Outdoor Recreation & Amenities

The lodge offers two outdoor hot tubs with canyon views on an upper deck. Guests can rent Polaris UTVs, snowmobiles, and bicycles from the onsite rental center. 350 miles of hiking and biking trails are accessible from the property, with trailheads to Spearfish Falls and Roughlock Falls steps away.

Guest Rooms & Suites

The lodge provides standard rooms, mini suites, and executive suites such as the Calamity Jane Suite and Black Elk Suite. Selected rooms include a full kitchen with a fridge, oven, and microwave, and some cabins like the Berry Patch Cabin offer fully-equipped kitchens. Pet-friendly rooms are available with dedicated outdoor spaces for pets.

The award-winning Latchstring Restaurant across the street serves homemade dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Roughlock Lounge inside the lodge offers seasonal cocktails, pizza, and meat and cheese boards. Guests can also order sack lunches from the UTV rental office for day trips.
