Accommodations

The Inn at Stonecliffe offers rooms in a 1904 Tudor mansion and separate Summer House cottages with views of the Straits of Mackinac. Each room is air-conditioned with a flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and coffee machine. The property includes two heated pools - one for adults and one for families - plus a wellness center with a sauna and exercise equipment.

Dining

The hotel has three on-site restaurants: The Straits, The Backyard, and the Horsey Pub. The Backyard serves 12-inch brick oven pizza and jerk chicken with locally sourced ingredients. The Straits offers a gourmet dinner menu with an extensive wine list, and fresh eggs come from the hotel's own chickens.

Activities & Wellness

Guests can join complimentary scheduled activities each week, including bee-keeping classes, lawn games, and guided hikes from the property. The wellness center offers a fitness room, massage services (by David), and a sauna. Evening fire pits with complimentary s'mores are set up nightly on the great lawn overlooking the Mackinac Bridge.

Family Features

The property includes a family pool, a separate adult pool, and daily kids' crafts and yard games. Children can explore the hotel's herb garden, apple orchard, and chicken coop. Bicycles for all ages are available for rent on site to explore the island's 8-mile loop.

Location & Transportation

The hotel is situated 1.5 miles from downtown Mackinac Island on the quieter west side, away from the ferry crowds. Complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides transport guests from the dock to the property on check-in and check-out days. A paid hourly shuttle carriage runs to town, and the hotel is adjacent to the Woods Golf Course (Grand Hotel's back 9).
