Rooms & Villas

The Chanler offers 20 uniquely designed rooms, each based on a historical period such as the Louis XIV room or the Nantucket suite. Some ocean villas include private outdoor hot tubs and gardens exclusive to those guests. The Nantucket suite has its own private courtyard with a jacuzzi and steamroom.

Dining

The hotel houses two restaurants: Cara and Remy's Loose, with Cara earning a Forbes Five-Star rating and Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence. The tasting menu at Cara is a nine-course Chef's Table dinner prepared by Chef Jasinski. Breakfast at Remy's on the patio overlooks the water.

Location & Grounds

The Chanler is the only hotel located directly on Newport's famed Cliff Walk, with acres of manicured gardens and direct access to the beach. Guests can walk the scenic Cliff Walk path starting right from the property. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to downtown Newport between 5 and 10pm.
